Both modern and traditional light displays will bring
Fed Square to life.

Campfire 2 June – 17 July, 2016
Nothing speaks winter more than a cosy campfire, and Fed Square recognises that. The Campfire in Fed Square celebrates indigenous culture, with a special ceremony to light the fire on 2 June with an Indigenous Welcome to Country.
The fire will burn continuously for the duration of the winter program, which will see the Campfire as the centre point.
There will be live performances, storytelling, learning and sharing around the campfire every Thursday and Friday night over the course of the festivities (2 June – 17July).
The Saturday closest to the shortest day of the year is Winter Solstice, an ancient celebration that signifies the rebirthing of the sun.
Fed Square will host a Winter Solstice celebration into the night. The evening of the Winter Solstice celebration will feature some specific installations, performance and roving artists, sharing their vision of the world through the lens of the modern world.
River Rink in Fed Square 18 June – 17 July, 2016
