Guest speaker, Melanie Scott, is a Speech Pathologist with a Bachelor in Applied Science. She has 18 years’ experience working with children with a range of communication disorders, and their families.
Melanie has worked across a range of settings including hospital based, early intervention, educational settings, out-reach and community health. She offers assessments and intervention to children with speech and language delays, developmental delay, dyspraxia and autism spectrum disorders, and she is trained in Hanen (It Takes Two To Talk), PROMPT and PECS. Melanie works closely with other professionals to meet child and family goals.
