Popular beach side playground for Melbourne families

Other than Carrum Foreshore Playground, Victory Park in Chelsea is one of the other rare almost--beachfront parks in Melbourne.

Located away from the main shopping strip, and right next to the Chelsea Lifesaving Club, Victory Park is a medium sized playground suited to younger children.

Join in on the NEW Art of Beer tour of Melbourne, which will cover the city's relationship with beer, its history and the best places to drink and enjoy beer.
The Melbourne Crochet Club meets fortnightly to learn crochet, meet other Melbourne mums, and have a good chat. Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned pro, everyone is welcome to come along!
Most of the equipment here is at a level where young kids can explore. Tiny ones may require help climbing the lighthouse.

There is a fast-ish higher blue wavy slide that is very popular with the older kids, and smaller slides for the little ones.

There is a large grassed area, BBQs and shaded picnic tables if you want to BYO lunch. Being so close to the shops also means you can buy food without travelling too far if you need to. Public toilets are available.

Car parking is free for the City of Kingston residents (for those with a free permit) otherwise parking is metered.
