Music classes for babies and children in Thornbury

The Musical Mind is a children's business in Melbourne offering small group music classes for babies and children in Thornbury.

The Musical Mind is run by Tanya, a registered teacher with the Victorian Institute of Teaching, who has over 10 years’ experience teaching and directing music programs in schools across Victoria, London and New South Wales.

The Geelong Crochet Club meets on a regular basis to learn crochet, meet other local mums, and to have a good chat. Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned pro, everyone is welcome to come along.
On Tuesday July 30th, IKEA Richmond is hosting a Safer Life at Home workshop to educate us parents and grandparents to prepare for life with our little ones.
Intimate classes offered by The Musical Mind include:

Prenatal
Newborns and babies (6 weeks to 18 months)
Toddlers (18months to 3.5yrs)
Pre-schoolers (3.5 - 5.5 yrs)
Lower primary (5 - 9yrs)
Upper primary (9 - 12yrs)

Tanya's classes are nurturing and fun. Each class operates in a friendly, relaxed environment for kids who are actively encouraged to make lots of noise while learning about music together with their loved ones.

One way Tanya engages with her young members through musical language is via the "Music Discover Box" - a box of musical treasures designed to for children to follow along in a sound story.

Tanya’s passion is to show parents how they can create an everlasting bond between themselves and their child through the joy of music.
