With book week just around the corner and Halloween just a few months away, now is the time to start thinking about dress-ups!

If you're looking for inspiration, might I suggest you pay a visit to The Little Shop of Horrors Costumery in Mornington.

The Little Shop of Horrors Costumery

Owned by two sisters with a penchant for make-believe and dress-ups, The Little Shop of Horrors Costumery is huge a treasure-trove of fun. Just about every type of costume you can think of is here to hire, plus many more you've probably not even heard of.

Stepping into this glorious place is like walking into another world. From Harry Potter to Star Wars, The Great Gatsby to Superheroes and everything in-between, you'll be hard pushed not to find something to wear.

If you want to go one step further with your get-up, The Little Shop of Horrors Costumery also offers special effects and character make-up so you can really look the part!

Lastly, something that may appeal to the older kids in your family, Louise aka Professor McGonagall teaches Harry Potter themed workshops on Saturdays and in the school holidays, plus themed kids birthday parties in the Little Shoppe at the back of the store! My son recently did the Potions Workshop and had the best time. We'll be back for a wand making class next time.

Do consider a visit to the Little Shop of Horrors Costumery for you next dress-up adventure. You'll be glad you stopped by and so will your kids.
