The Big Goose: a combination of animals and play areas in Moorooduc
The Big Goose is one of the newest family-friendly attractions on the Mornington Peninsula and is fast becoming a favourite for many reasons.
The Big Goose
While some might call The Big Goose a farm, this outdoor attraction offers plenty more than your average "petting zoo".
There are plenty of animals to meet & greet such as; baby rabbits, chicks, guinea pigs & reptiles in the big red barn.
There's also goats, chickens and geese to feed, a "wildlife park" with kangaroos, wallabies, emus & camels and there's ostriches peacocks, alpacas and donkeys! Not forgetting feathered friends in the aviary.
Animals at The Big Goose
In terms of activities, there's plenty. The jumping pillow is one of the biggest you'll see in the region and a huge attraction for children. In the summer months there's water play activities (don't forget to pack your child's bathers), a tyre maze, huge mostly-undercovered playground and tractor rides.

Keep an eye on the "what's on" board when you enter The Big Goose so you know what time the sheep dog demonstrations, pony rides and reptile shows will take place.
You can easily spend a day exploring The Big Goose. BYO picnic and enjoy your lunch on one of the many tables scattered throughout the farm, otherwise buy a snack and something to drink from the onsite heated cafe.
Make sure you follow along on Facebook so you can find out when the next seasonal themed activities will take place.
Add The Big Goose to your visit list; you won't be disappointed. Why not make a weekend of it and visit another Peninsula attraction? There's plenty to choose from!.
