Rare seafront cafe in the beachside suburb of Mordialloc in Melbourne's Southeast
There aren't many Melbourne cafes you'll find right next to the beach. SunnyBoy Beach Club, however, is one of the rare cafes offering sea views over Mordialloc beach.
SunnyBoy Beach Club in Mordialloc
As the name suggests, SunnyBoy Beach Club is a young and trendy bar/cafe and at night time the venue attracts a "clubby" crowd.
During the day though, the vibe is more relaxed than upbeat.
Because SunnyBoy Beach Club offers a wide open plan space, there is plenty of room to park a pram.
During Melbourne's warmer months, you might like to head down to SunnyBoy Beach Club and share a grazing plate with your Mother's Group on a weekday when the crowds are less? There's also a playground right next door and the beach is a stone's throw away.

Alternatively, consider booking in a family breakfast on Saturday or Sunday when the SunnyBoy Beach Club is open from 9am.
During the week, SunnyBoy Beach Club is closed on Monday and Tuesday but open from 11:30am till late on Wednesday to Friday.
Probably best to leave dinner times to the younger crowds when the music volumes are raised and cocktails flow, but if you're looking for a bright and breezy space to hang out with your kids during the day, add SunnyBoy Beach Club to your list.
