There is nothing like summertime fun especially when you're a child on school holidays. If you're like me and have childhood memories of sunny days at the beach, the smell of coconut oil in the air. Sticky lemonade icy poles melting down the stick all over your fingers, fresh fruit picked from the apricot tree and placed in the esky for when you got hungry. When days just seemed to roll into each other with not a care in the world....Those are the memories!
Seville water park is a place where kids will make those memories, it's not a beach, but a place that local families love to visit to cool off on the hot summer days and meet up with other families to spend the best part of a day. They set up beach tents, lay picnic rugs on the lush grass under the shade of the big trees, take picnics and just enjoy sunny days the way we used to... With family and friends, with seemingly not a care in the world.
Why not pack the car and take the kids to enjoy the Seville Water Park and playground just like the locals do.
Located next to the Seville Recreation Reserve and a mere 50 meter walk to the main shopping hub of Seville, the Water Park and playground is open 24 hours a day, and best of all entry is free.
Water jets are turned on in the warmer months each year (generally late September - early April but check the Seville Water Park Facebook page here for the most up to date information.
As for the playground, there is plenty of new play equipment to keep the kids amused. The giant net swing is popular, as is the tractor, swing set, slide, carved wooden farm animals, a huge covered sand pit with soft sand and a nearby water feature to name all but a few things you will find in the park.
Facilities include: BBQ's, picnic tables, shelters, drinking taps, shade areas, toilets, parking, paths, landscaped gardens, water park and playground.
