School Holiday Fun on Searoad Ferries

The Sorrento to Queenscliffe or Queenscliffe Sorrento ferry journey is a popular route for both work and recreational travel. But did you know that Searoad Ferries also offer fun family activities during the school holidays?



For a start, there are Kids High Teas. This April the High Teas will be Easter themed with a visit from the Easter Bunny!

Secondly, Searoad Ferries also offer fun workshops for kids, attracting families to jump on board the waters of Port Phillip Bay during the holidays.

The Melbourne Crochet Club meets on a regular basis to learn crochet, meet other local mums, and to have a good chat. Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned pro, everyone is welcome to come along.
Do you want to learn how to knit? Or have recently started and would like to meet some new friends to share your creativity with, all while having a good chat? Melbourne Knitting Club has classes for you.
Here's what's on over the Easter break:

Dolphin Discovery

A fun and interactive workshop learning all about Port Phillips unique dolphins and other amazing marine life, including seals & whales! Play games, see dolphin skulls and meet Bella Burrunan the dolphin.

When: Saturday 31 March & Friday 13 April
Departing Sorrento 11am and 1pm
Departing Queenscliff 12pm and 2pm



You and your family are invited to a Photography for Parents Workshop on Sunday 28th April 2019 at Fitzroy Gardens.

Crazy, fun and entertaining balloon shapes including bunny rabbits and easter hats that will bring out the kid in all ages from 5 to 55!

When: Monday 2 April
Departing Sorrento 11am and 1pm

Repurposed Craft Activities

Make fun craft items with Urban Upcycle using recyclable items.

When: Tuesday 3 April
Departing Queenscliff 11am and 1pm
Departing Sorrento 12pm and 2pm

Robot Workshop

OZOBOTS! Fun little robots that follow lines that you draw. Perform tricks using your hand to show the Ozobot which way to go! Uses just pens and paper, no device required. Code by colours. Great for ages 3-12, easy to play with, easy to code.

When: Tuesday 10 April
Departing Queenscliff 11am and 1pm
Departing Sorrento 12pm and 2pm




As well as the above, there's a childrenís playground on board Searoad Ferries and a colouring corner. Plus there are binoculars so kids can see the bay and coastline up close. Dolphin spotting is often a highlight as they frolic in the waters alongside the ferry.

There's a cafe on board for hungry tummies and coffee too!
