The play equipment is fantastic and offers plenty of variety suitable for all age groups. My kids particularly enjoyed the 'mountain slide', the flying fox, the net swing and the spinning disc but there is also toddler swings, kids swings, several slides of differing lengths, a rope net, many stepping stones, mounds to navigate and much more.
It's the perfect spot for a BBQ lunch, a play in the park, a swim at the beach, a stroll along the pier and a walk into town to have a look at the shops. On the second Saturday of every month you can even take a stroll around the Rosebud primary school market.
The playground is located on the beach end of Jetty Rd in Rosebud. Car parking is limited near the pier but you will find plenty of parking in the median strip on Pt Nepean Rd which is about a 150m walk from the playground.
You will find a cafe/pizza shop on the corner of Jetty and Pt Nepean roads and many other eateries within a 500m radius of the playground.
Facilities include: A new toilet block with disability access, 4 bike racks, water fountains, 3 BBQ's, 2 BBQ shelters, 3 picnic tables, plenty of seating and a walking trail that goes for kilometres in either direction.
One of the world’s most famous stories is being brought to life this summer by Playhouse Pantomimes! Join them on a magical journey through a mystical world in their mesmerising current production of 'Alice in Wonderland.'
Dining out with the kids is not always easy, but it can be even harder trying to find family-friendly options when you are vegetarian, vegan, paleo or gluten free. If you can relate to this, make Plant Based Mum your go-to blog.
