Mumma G and Nan G recently ventured into the city to check out one of Melbourne’s smash hit shows – Menopause The Musical – Women On Fire.
With only just tipping over the 40 milestone, I find that talk of ‘the change’ is not something that comes up in conversation very often, if at all. However, thanks to this side splitting show, I now feel prepared for what is to come!
If you loved, Menopause The Musical, then you are going to love this one!
This highly entertaining performance is a tongue in cheek journey of what ‘the change’ means to women.
It follows the story of four women who meet at a lingerie sale. They soon discover that, as well as shopping, that they have plenty in common including memory loss, night sweats, hot flushes, not enough sex, wrinkles, chocolate, forgetfulness and much more.
Starring leggy superstar Jackie Love along with the return of Caroline Gillmer (Underbelly), Donna Lee (Beauty & the Beast) and Lena Cruz (Priscilla The Musical), this cast combo will not disappoint.
Littered with toe tapping adapted oldie goldies from the 60’s, 70’s ad 80’s combined with belly laughs a plenty you will find it hard to sit still throughout this show as you go on the journey of 'the change'.
One of the world’s most famous stories is being brought to life this summer by Playhouse Pantomimes! Join them on a magical journey through a mystical world in their mesmerising current production of 'Alice in Wonderland.'
Dining out with the kids is not always easy, but it can be even harder trying to find family-friendly options when you are vegetarian, vegan, paleo or gluten free. If you can relate to this, make Plant Based Mum your go-to blog.
