At this year’s National Recycling Week, Warrandyte Neighbourhood House and Warrandyte Arts Association are coming together to host a fun community festival.
If you are looking for inspiration on upcycling in your home and the community, this is the festival for you. The festival has a range of interactive workshops and demonstrations that will give you ideas on how to be more sustainable.
The Repair Cafe, Warrandyte Potters and Warrandyte Arts will be there to showcase their craft and share their knowledge. They will encourage us to alter our behaviour and make choices that will lead to a greener future.
Tim Read, a sculptor who works with reclaimed steel, will be displaying his work. His sculptures are inspired by nature and the unique materials he sources.
There will be musical entertainment to add to the bustling atmosphere. Lion’s BBQ will be serving up a sausage sizzle and other food and drinks vendors will be present as well.
