Pirate Sundays at Polly Woodside
Visit Melbourne's very own tall ship the Polly Woodside on the first Sunday of each month for Pirate Day
Ahoy there me hearties! The National Trust's magnificent maritime museum calls upon all young scallywags to join the Polly crew for a day of piratey-pirate fun on the first Sunday of each month.
's family-friendly Priate Sundays include a whole day of (on-land) seafaring adventures.
Pirate Sundays will look much like this, although activities are subject to change:
10am – 10.45am Tattoos and free roam
15am -10.45am Storytime (up to 5yrs)
45am Abandon ship & Tug-o-War
11am Treasure hunt
30am Free roam & Captain’s quarters viewing
12pm Scrub the decks!
45pm Abandon Ship & Walk The Plank
1pm Treasure Hunt
30pm Work the Capstan or Captain’s Quarters viewing
2pm Scrub the decks!
45pm Abandon Ship & “Don’t Wake the Sleepy Pirate!!”
3pm Treasure Hunt
The remaining dates for Pirate Sundays at the Polly Woodside in 2020 are:
1 March, 5 April, 3 May, 7 June, 5 July, 2 August, 6 September, 4 October, 1 November and 6 December.
Join the Polly crew to discover what life was like on a tall ship sailing the seven seas, many years ago.
