National Recycling Week Storytime – with a visit from a waste collection truck



Do you have a child who loves standing on the footpath and waving to the drivers as the garbage truck goes by? Or the kid who enjoys helping out and pulling the bins in?

At National Recycling Week this year, Beaumaris Library is inviting a real-life waste truck to come for a visit!

Come on over and say hello to one of Bayside’s food and green waste collection trucks and its driver. Get a chance to take a photo for memory!

On this special afternoon storytime, there will be recycling-related stories, songs, rhymes and an activity. This is a great way to share with our children the importance of recycling.
