Mother Funkers: Daytime Dance Parties in Elsternwick

by EricaL (follow)
Who says you need to forgo your dancing days now that you have a baby?

Mother Funkers, a new daytime dance party to hit Melbourne, invites you to boogie with your tiny people in a fun casual free-form dancing event.

Note that this initiative is by no means a dance class, but instead a gathering of like-minded parents and babies who wish to throw some shapes together!

You don't need to be kick-ass dancer for Mother Funkers, more-so some enthusiasm to bust a move to some funky tunes.

From retro hits to exotic African vibes, energising pop and uplifting dance party classics, this is your opportunity to let loose for an hour while your children are in safe indoor environment.

Mother Funkers encourages mothers of babies to enjoy the day time dance party, from pregnant mummas to parents with bubs in carriers, crawlers and pre-walkers are all welcome, too.

The next Mother Funker will take place at:

Address: St John Uniting Church Elsternwick, 567 Glen Huntly Rd, VIC 3185
When: 16 November 2016 at 11am - Midday
Cost: $10 at the door
