City

Public art museum with a collection of over 70000 works.

A gallery, exhibition space and cinema focused on the film, television and digital culture.
"The Screen Worlds gallery on the ground floor is a permanent exhibition space that is great for kids to explore. Every school holiday there are workshops, and movie screenings are very cheap in comparison." MMG Member

[link https://museumvictoria.com.au Melbourne Museum] at Carlton Gardens
Melbourne Museum is a natural and cultural history museum located in the Carlton Gardens.
"Plenty to keep the kids entertained with the Dinosaur Walk, Bugs Alive, Rainforest Walk just to name a few of the 7 gallery spaces to explore. Once the children's gallery opens again, there will be even more reasons to visit. Sometimes there are school holiday activities on, and there's also IMAX to check out, too" MMG Member

Home to over 10,000 aquatic animals, including one of the world's largest Saltwater Crocodiles residing in the state-of-the-art Croc Lair exhibit.
"There's always plenty to keep the kids amused at Melbourne Aquarium on the banks of the Yarra River. Check what's on over the school holidays, as there's often extras to enjoy" MMG Member.
