Do you want to take amazing photos of your family in their everyday moments?
Whether you want these photos for your own personal collection to look back on (they grow up so fast!), or you would like to improve your Instagram game, learning how to take quality photos is an essential skill that you will be using for the long-haul.
Hosted by Melbourne Mums Group, you're invited to a Mums & Kids Photography Picnic in the beautiful Fitzroy Gardens on Saturday the 24th of March at 1pm.
This 2 hour course is suitable for complete beginners with any smartphone or other handheld camera from point-and-shoot to SLR.
Come along with a a picnic lunch and a blanket, and enjoy an afternoon meeting other mums and learning new photography skills. You will also take home some incredible photos, which you’ll be proud to hang on your wall.
Family photographer Kate Sheffield will take you through the basics:
Where to find important settings on your smartphone or camera.
How to compose an image considering framing and viewpoint.
Working with light and shade.
Using the right settings for different situations.
Taking action shots.
Using props and backgrounds.
Tips and tricks that the professionals use.
