The latest health and wellness treatment for your newborn bub has opened this week in Rowville with the opening of the Baby Spa. It's a first for Melbourne after originating in London and expanding globally since 2005.
Baby Spa is ready to cater to newborns aged 2 days to 6 months by giving bubs a safe and relaxed environment where they can be calmed, develop their senses, strengthen their muscles and bones, and build their confidence.

Baby's (and parents too!) can enjoy a safe and relaxed environment where babies can be calmed, develop their senses, strengthen their muscles and bones, and build their confidence.
Join in on the NEW Art of Beer tour of Melbourne, which will cover the city's relationship with beer, its history and the best places to drink and enjoy beer.
Visit begins with a 10 to 30 minute immersion in a neonatal pod or larger unit, depending on the age of the baby (pictured above.) Your little one is supported by a patented flotation device called a BUBBY®, allowing them to move freely in water, as they develop a range of movements.
The BUBBY® doesn't restrict movement or cause any discomfort, and has been carefully engineered design to completely support the baby’s head and neck. All Baby Spa water is purified by a reverse osmosis system and heated to the appropriate temperature according to the little one's age in weeks.
The sensation of floating in warm water puts babies completely at ease and can promote a number of key benefits, including helping muscular and skeletal strength through the water’s gentle resistance. The baby's movement through the water has a positive effect on the digestive and circulatory systems, helping to reduce meconium levels and lowering the risk of jaundice three or four days after birth.
Subtle water pressure on the chest can increase lung capacity by strengthening intercostal muscles and the respiratory system and with regular visit, your little one can also boost their cardiovascular system and learn innate swimming reflexes.
You and your family are invited to a Photography for Parents Workshop on Sunday 9th September 2018 at Fitzroy Gardens.
Once baby is ready to come out of the water, the BUBBY® is removed and they are then gently wrapped in warm, soft towels and treated to a gentle massage by the fully trained spa therapists.
Mums won’t miss out on being pampered either with Baby Spa Melbourne offering specialised pregnancy massages, foot and leg treatments, pregnancy pilates classes and Mums Bubs pilates classes.
Owner of Baby Spa Melbourne, Breanne Marquis says, “We’re so excited to be bringing Baby Spa to Melbourne. We have plans to open further Spas across Melbourne and on in Sydney in the coming months.
“Given the Australian water lifestyle we are confident local parents and their babies will love the experience and wonderful benefits of water therapy. Once a parent sees the joy their baby feels from free floating in the water, how their bodies relax from receiving a massage, they will quickly see the advantages of bringing their baby in for those early months of development," Breanne said.
Booking are available at: www.yourbabyspa.com.au and sessions are priced at $85 each, or 5 sessions for $380, or 10 sessions for $720.
