Marie Wallace Bayswater Park

by EricaL (follow)
A great playground in Melbourne's Eastern suburbs called the Train Park

The Bayswater Train Park is a wonderful community playground for families.

The playground offers lots of space to play, and the main attraction is a big red retired train!

The Marie Wallace Bayswater Park has many sections and is suitable for all ages; toddler to tweens.

The aforementioned big red train is ready to explore and imaginative play is guaranteed! The train has its own platform and ticket booth, so children can role play as train conductors.

In terms of generic play, there's a wooden "adventure playground" style structure to explore, a cute metal elephant slide, sandpit, hippo structures and adequate sheltered areas.

Couple that with open spaces for skateboarding, scooting, bike riding and a climbing wall and you've got a play space to entertain the smallest to the tallest.

BYO picnic and take advantage of the park's BBQs/picnic tables.

Where: 799 Mountain Hwy, Bayswater VIC
