The bedtime routine for many of us growing up (just as it is with your own children) would include story time, and the reading of one of the most beloved books of all - Animalia! When Graeme Base wrote and illustrated Animalia over 30yrs ago, he had no idea he'd be capturing the imaginations of generations of children. This bedtime tradition has continued through the years, and Graeme has delighted millions of children with countless new releases such as Uno’s Garden and The 11th Hour.
Graeme’s creations are now finally about to leap onto our touch screens with the help of game developer Maurice Wheeler. In the gaming world, Wheeler’s bio is as impressive as Base’s, and together they wanted to make something very special that would bring families together in an age where screen time usually means disconnecting a family's time together.
You and your family are invited to a Photography for Parents Workshop on Sunday 9th September 2018 at Fitzroy Gardens.
Their creation, the Magical Moopaloop Tree, reintroduces traditional family time in today's digital age. The Magical Moopaloop Tree needs your family to team up to help it grow, your family will communicate over your tree in the same way families once communicated about story time, and playing doesn't have to wait until bed time, and can be played anywhere, anytime, by anyone.
