The charismatic Mann has the audience in the palm of her hand
Everyone’s got a few skeletons in the cupboard.
In her aptly named show
Skeletons, British comedian extraordinaire Kathy Mann airs all her dirty laundry - walking the audience through the perils of her secret life moonlighting as an anaesthetist whilst trying to get her gay (and not so gay) performing art friends to take her budding comedy career seriously.
Kirsty has been keeping a terrible secret... She's a doctor. Please don’t tell anyone, she wants people to take her seriously. A ridiculous true story about living a double life as an undercover anaesthetist.
Fresh off successful runs at the Edinburgh Festival 2023 and Fringe World Perth 2024, Kirsty is set to grace MICF for
10 shows only. Directed by Laura Corcoran from the renowned double act
Frisky & Mannish, this hybrid show seamlessly blends comedy and theatre.
You will laugh and cry along with Kirsty as she skilfully recounts auditions that went awry (mostly due to the fact that she turned up from a double shift at the hospital covered in human blood) and her fling with a gorgeous Matthew McConaughey lookalike after surviving a near-death experience involving a manic shooter in the ward.
Grossly absorbing and perfect for anyone who’s ever wondered if they have what it takes to be a NHS worker at the peak of COVID-19.
