Interaxcity Children's Museum is a new style of playcentre that has recently opened in Malvern.
While not exactly a playcentre nor a traditional museum, Interaxcity is something inbetween. Set up as a purpose built mini city with a pretend post office, florist, house, restaurant, supermarket, builders zone, mechanic and airport, children are encouraged to role play as a "community hero."
Sessions run over 90 minutes, the first beginning at 9:30am and the last at 2:45pm Monday to Saturday. Sundays are reserved for parties and group bookings.
If your child loves role playing, they will love it here. Parents are actively encouraged to participate. Have your child serve you a special dish in the restaurant, pilot a plane to a faraway destination, shop for groceries or repair the car you are driving.
Let your child's Imaginations run wild at Interaxcity. This is a brilliant concept for young children; probably best suited to pre-primary or lower primary aged kids.
Book in Here. Children's entry is $18, adults and under 12 months are free.
