As night falls on Halloween day, head over to Montsalvat for an array of spooktacular activities.

The gates open at 4pm to begin a night of free kids activities, games and scary stories. Have your fortune read, take pictures by the pumpkin patch, or enter the Haunted Mansion and see what eerie creatures lie inside.

There will be free face painting for the kids from 4pm to 7pm, just in time for the costume parade that kicks off at 7pm. So be sure to dress up in your wildest and scariest costumes.

At dinnertime, lay out a picnic mat and grab some food from the food trucks. There will be Twista Sis, Dos Amigos and a sausage sizzle by the Lions Club of Eltham. Swing by the Montsalvat Bar to get refreshments to quench your thirst after a night of screaming.

There is a film screening of Queen of the Damned happening from 8pm to 10pm. The film screening is a ticketed event and only for those above 15 years of age. Make your booking for the movie at the booking page .

Cost: General Admission $15. Family (2 adults, 2 children) $45. Free for companion card holders and children under 5.
Pets: Not allowed.
Parking: Limited parking onsite. It is suggested that you park in Eltham township in all day parking sections on Main Rd and off St Laurence Lane and then catch the free shuttle bus service or bus #582 .
