The Arts Centre's Spire is a Melbourne landmark reaching high into the sky in the heart of the city's arts precinct.

The Arts Centre Melbourne itself is a complex building extending five floors underground. Journey down beneath the spire with a guided tour organised by the Arts Centre Melbourne staff and explore the centre's many theatres and concert halls.

Do you want to learn how to knit? Or have recently started and would like to meet some new friends to share your creativity with, all while having a good chat? Melbourne Knitting Club has classes starting in January 2019.
Guided tours run on Monday through to Saturday at 11am each day. Tours run for an hour and take you beneath the famous spire to explore the fascinating story of this 130-year-old entertainment precinct.

Your tour begins at the welcome desk (arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your tour time) and finishes with a morning tea (included).

Tours are booked online and are priced at a very reasonable:

$20 adult
$15 child.

Backstage guided tours are also available. These tours run on Sundays and are slightly longer (90 minutes)/ Backstage tours give you access to backstage rooms, hidden passageways and technical contraptions. More Here
