Little Big Shots 2018: Film Festival for Kids at ACMI

This year's exciting program boats some 126 short films from 26 countries, including France, Belgium, Hungary, Czech Republic, France, Brazil, Argentina, US, UK and China.
There's animation to mockumentaries, documentaries, short films and so much more. Programs are split into age category so you can choose the appropriate selection of films for your child.
The weekend of the year when all the great Cosplayers of Melbourne head to Melbourne Convention Centre dressed as their alter egos!

But Oz Comic-Con is so much more than that. Unleash your inner geek with comic art workshops at the kids 2019 comic artists workshops, head to the main stage for guest panel discussions or have a go at Anime trivia.

Christmas in July Winter Wonderlights at Sovereign Hill
Rug up in your thermals (because it is cold in Ballarat!) and take a road trip to Sovereign Hill for the ever-popular Winter Wonderlights Christmas in July event.

During the day, the Sovereign Hill township evokes a sense of old-world winter wonder. Take a stroll down Main Street as faux snow falls at regular intervals over the Victorian-style buildings, decorations fill the window displays, the smell of Christmas treats and spices fill the air, and traditional Christmas-themed pantomimes are performed.
At night, Main Street sparkles with an amazing light projection show with over 25 of Sovereign Hill's buildings lit up with large-scale image projections and Christmas animations.

Disney On Ice
Disney On Ice returns to the Hisense Arena this July for another magical show on the ice.
Celebrate the legacy of Disney this year as Disney On Ice celebrates 100 Years of Magic!
Mickey Mouse leads a parade of characters including Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy and an ensemble of Disney Princesses.
Anna, Elsa and the hilarious Olaf from Disney's Frozen
will hit the ice, alongside characters from Disney Pixar 2019s Toy Story, Finding Nemo, Disney 2019s The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin!

Head down to the Mornington Peninsula over the Queen's Birthday long weekend to enjoy the first ever WinterGlow festival at Boneo Maze.

Don your winter woolies and enjoy everything that the Boneo Maze has to offer after dark. There's mini golf, giant games, mazes and a jumping castle available all day.
Extra activities that make up part of the WinterGlow Festival include roving luminous dragonflies, a fire show, movie tent, face painting, neon photo booth, neon lantern workshops, light sculptures, music, rides on the vintage carousel and more.
