Inclusive Sensory Play Parties for Melbourne Children

Jacqui, the founder of FarOutKids! Sensory Parties has come up with a fantastic concept for children who may struggle with the usual busy, loud and in some cases overwhelming birthday party celebrations.

Jacqui's son was diagnosed with Autism at the age of three. She was always nervous at the thought of taking her son to social gatherings and birthday parties, because usually such events proved too much for him.

The Geelong Crochet Club meets on a regular basis to learn crochet, meet other local mums, and to have a good chat. Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned pro, everyone is welcome to come along.
Microsoft, in conjunction with MEGT, is offering an exciting career pathway for anyone looking for a new career, or returning to work.
As such, she came up with the idea of organising inclusive, sensory parties herself for children in Melbourne.

Her dream became a reality. She founded FarOutKids! - a unique sensory-friendly and inclusive place to celebrate your child's birthday.

The venue Jacqui uses for FarOutKids! is in Dingley, Melbourne South East, which has been set up with an indoor space and an outdoor area.

From sensory-friendly toys, activity stations, outdoor sensory garden, games and more plus a teepee play tent for those who just want to chill out for some quiet time.
