The EAA will hold a clinic in Melbourne at the Skin and Cancer Foundation HQ in Carlton from 9am to 12:30pm on Tuesday 15 May.
This clinic offers the opportunity to speak with medical professionals and EAA representatives about eczema management to help counteract long wait periods experienced by sufferers.
Were focused on increasing awareness of eczema and the wait times endured by sufferers in an effort to improve and broaden the availability of medical treatment and support for those in need, Says EAA President, Cheryl Talent.
Despite there being no cure, people can learn to manage eczema flare-ups effectively. Eczema at any stage of life is controllable as long as the condition is diagnosed correctly by a healthcare professional. Ms Talent explains.
