Frozen is alive and well on the ice at Hisense Arena this July, and we were fortunate enough to see the spectacular on the first evening performance last night.

If you've seen a Disney on Ice performance before, you will know that no expense is spared on the elaborate sets, customes and lighting. Disney on Ice presents Frozen is no different.
You couldn't ask for a better story to have on the ice. Frozen is of course, a story following 'Snow Queen' Elsa who transforms the Scandinavian town of Arendelle into an eternal winter, and her sister Princess Anna's attempts to save her from her magical power demise.

Unlike other shows I've seen, Disney on Ice presents Frozen sticks to the main storyline of Disney's 53rd animated movie, rather than mix it up with other Disney tales.
That doesn't mean you won't see some of your other Disney favourites on the ice; there's Goofy, Donald Duck, Minnie and Micky Mouse, Buzz Lightyear and Woody, Nemo and Dory, a couple of characters from Disney's The Lion King and not forgetting some of your other Prince and Princess favourites. That said, you will only see the additional characters right at the start of the show and in the finale.
Disney on Ice presents Frozen brings Elsa, Anna, Olaf, Kristoff and Sven into Hisense Arena in a way you've never seen before. There are parts of the story that are missed (Mum and Dad's boat tragedy for one), however, the songs and the scenes you know and love are all there in spectacular form.

Without giving too much way because you need to see if for yourself, Disney on Ice presents Frozen is everything you could want from a magical winter show.
Suitable for ages probably 3 and up (there aren't many scary bits), Disney on Ice presents Frozen is performing at Hisense Arena from 5 - 9 July and 22 - 23 July at various show times.
Book your tickets now, and see the delight on your mini Elsa and Anna's faces.
