Kids bring a teddy bear and ride for FREE!

A few years back I took the kids to the annual Diamond Valley Railway Teddy Bears picnic on the Queen's Birthday long weekend.

This event is very popular, especially given that children who take a teddy bear ride for free!



Despite the weather being a bit fresh we had a great time riding on the miniature and playing at the Eltham Lower Playground next to the miniature railway. For a full review click [Link http://www.weekendnotes.com/diamond-valley-miniature-railway/ here].

Tip: Be prepared for it to be really busy and expect waiting times to be longer than normal.

The Teddy Bears' Picnic will be held on:

Sunday 10th June 2018 from 11am - 5pm
Monday 11th June 2018 from 1pm - 4pm

Location: Eltham Lower Park, 570 Main Road, Eltham VIC 3095

Cost: $3 per ticket (free for children who bring a teddy) - 100% of your ticket fare goes back into maintaining the railway and building better and new facilities for the community to enjoy.
