Curtin University Researchers are looking for women who are 20-32 WEEKS PREGNANT and expecting their FIRST BABY to participate in a study trialling a new potential, drug-free way of PREVENTING postnatal anxiety. Participation involves completing a series of online surveys and short telephone interviews with a researcher in pregnancy, and up to 6 months after your baby is born (at three time points in total). Participants can go into the draw to win a $50, $100, or $200 Westfield, Coles Myer Group, or Baby Bunting gift card (total prize pool - $800). This study is the very first of its kind worldwide. We are looking for mothers over the age of 18 years of children aged 3 to 9 years old to complete an online survey. The survey will take approximately 15 minutes. Upon the conclusion of the survey participants will be offered the ability to enter in a prize draw to win 1 of 4 $100 gift vouchers. The survey is completely voluntary and anonymous and the information collected will be used as part of an Honours research project.

Wellbeing of Australian parents in the year preceding transition to school - We need your help!

Parents of children aged 4-6 years, we invite you to take part in this exciting research project.
Dr. Louise McLean, Senior Lecturer & psychologist, Dr. Jennifer Otto & Ms Hayley Anthony, both psychologists and research supervisors, all from the Faculty of Education, Monash University, are conducting a research project that explores factors related to well-being in parents of children who will start school in 2019. Students who are enrolled in the Graduate Diploma of Professional Psychology or the Master of Educational & Developmental Psychology degree are also part of her research team.
Parents who take part in the project will be asked to complete an internet-based questionnaire (less than 60 minutes to complete).
We hope to expand our knowledge about child and parental wellbeing.
