What is better than seeing the bearded man in red arrive in his sleigh pulled by reindeer? Well, a bearded man on water skis being towed by a boat of course!

The Southern Waters Ski Show Team is back for the 2022/2023 summer and is looking forward to showing you what they have been up to with some exciting new things on the water.

Come down and check out the annual Christmas Show on the banks of the National Water Sport Centre.

From 3pm, start arriving at the National Water Sport Centre. Lay out your camping chairs and picnic rugs to get the best views. Then, if you are feeling peckish, go check out the food trucks for some yummy treats. There will be Tornado Spuds for twisted potatoes and hot dogs, and Lick Your Lips Food Truck for burgers, loaded fries, fish & chips and nachos. Remember to leave space for a cool treat from Whipitup Icecream.

After getting your food, hurry back to your seats before 3.30 pm, because that is when the show will start. Watch water skiers glide over the water, and be amazed at how they stack themselves up. The show will go for about an hour, with a short intermission. Towards the finale of the show, Santa will be skiing in from the north pole, so make sure you have your cameras ready for that.

After the water ski show, head over to the outdoor cinema at the Melbourne Cable Park, just next door, to watch a Christmas Movie with the family. This year, they will be showing ‘The Grinch’. This is going to be a fun-filled family day out, an awesome way to celebrate and get ready for Christmas.

Notes on how to get to the show:
Head to the National Water Sport Centre at 5 Riverend Road, Bangholme. Drive all the way to the end. The show is located on Patterson River on the left-hand side as you drive in.
