Bobux Xplorer First Walker Shoes for Toddlers

Bobux is an established family run based children's shoe business. The New Zealand based company developed what is considered to be the best alternative to toddlers walking bare feet.

It is widely known that little people in their early walking phase benefit hugely by not wearing shoes at all, for anything up to 6 weeks. There are several reasons why toddlers should remain barefooted; in doing so, they maintain a balanced and steady walking posture, as well as develop important muscles and ligaments in their feet and ankles.

While you shouldn't worry too much about the potential risk to your precious ones' walking barefooted in public areas, as parents you would not want to expose hazardous grounds that could harm your toddlers' feet.

The Bobux Xplorer shoes are designed and developed for the most important stage of your child's walking life. The Xplorer; For First steps, offer a seamless single layer leather upper, and a micro-armour toe cap. The EVA sole has been designed to be strong enough to encourage foot development, but incorporates flexibility to encourage healthy foot development.

With most first shoes, toddlers have a tendency to lose them at every given opportunity because they don't stay put, however, the Xplorer comes with an elastic velcro closure that makes them easy to fit on to impatient, squirmy feet.

REVIEW

I have a 15month old son, in the early stages of walking. A week into his barefooted walking life, on school pick to collect his older sibling, he managed to cut both feet by walking on sharp tanbark. Whilst I still condone toddlers walking barefoot, and prefer not to put shoes on my little one's feet, at certain times such as this, I feel compelled to protect my little explorer, and as such, found theBobux Xplorer perfect for our needs.

When my son's Bobux Xplorer's arrived, he surprised me with his enthusiasm to wear his "doos", no doubt influenced by his older sibling. Not only did he take to wearing his shoes, he walked in them immediately, and didn't have a problem transitioning from barefoot to shoe. Three cheers for Bobux, we love them!
