Melbourne gift company Waggle Dance now have a bilingual in-home child minding service available - perfect for families who prefer to have their children minded in their home language!
Host Viqui is passionate about helping bilingual families maintain their home language. She truly believes that raising a bilingual child in Australia deserves support from the very early years. This is why she has created a bilingual child-minding service, that children can hear mum or dad’s language as much as possible.
Or perhaps your children are learning a new language and you would like them to get some practice with a native speaker while playing and having meals? This is a great hands-on experience.
This five hour child minding service for up to four children will give parents a proper break to run errands, catch-up with friends, attend a course, go to a movie, exercise or just relax whilst their children are minded.
Every carer is reference checked, undergoes additional specialised in-house training and has a Working with Children Check and First Aid Certificate. The carers are bilingual and fluent in English and a variety of other languages such as Spanish, French, German, Italian, Chinese and many more.
This service includes duties caring for children as part of their daily routine such as feeding, setting up age appropriate activities, taking them to out-of-home activities, such as a nearby park as agreed on with the parents. Light housework such as loading the dish-washer, tidying children’s rooms, putting children’s laundry away or vacuuming and tidying the play area are also included.
Bambini Early Learning Centres are set to host the Bayside Treasure Hunt and Open Day on Saturday 8th December. Families can get their thinking caps on and look for clues around any of the Bayside centres, with the chance to win a $1000 JB Hi-Fi voucher, just in time for Christmas!
