Children grow so quickly, particularly during the first couple of years. Is it any wonder then, that Melbourne parents are left with a stash of unwanted baby and children's clothes, toys and goods?

Such items are often kept in tip top condition because it's only a matter of your child growing out of said items rather than using them until their last wear.

Do you want to learn how to knit? Or have recently started and would like to meet some new friends to share your creativity with, all while having a good chat? Melbourne Knitting Club has classes for you.
The Melbourne Crochet Club meets on a regular basis to learn crochet, meet other local mums, and to have a good chat. Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned pro, everyone is welcome to come along.
What do you do with such goods? Obviously there are opportunity shops who will take unwanted baby goods but perhaps you'd prefer to donate your clothes and toys to charities who help families in need.

St Kilda Mums, founded in 2009, takes donations of baby and children's goods for families in need.

Items are distributed to families in the local area, donations are taken in at the charity's warehouse in Vale Street, St Kilda.

Mums Supporting Families In Need is a fully-volunteer run organisation based in Melbourne South East.

The Melbourne Crochet Club meets on a regular basis to learn crochet, meet other local mums, and to have a good chat. Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned pro, everyone is welcome to come along.
Wooden Kingdom proudly offers a delightful collection of European wooden toys and decorations that are manufactured in the Czech Republic.
MSFIN provides donated children's clothing, nursery items, books and other child related items to struggling Victorian families.

3081 Angels are volunteers who collect preloved babies and children's furniture and clothing to give to disadvantaged families in the West Heidelberg area.

Pregnancy Assistance Frankston (PAF) is a not-for-profit pregnancy support agency who support mothers in a number of ways. PAF supports new mothers to obtain material assistance such as infant clothing, baby furniture and other necessary items.
