That is why we've compiled a list of the best Melbourne playgrounds for toddlers, as voted by YOU.

Situated right next to the beach, with a sand castle play area and lighthouse with great views across the bay, sand pit diggers, swings and a boat.

Wooden "fort" style playground, which suits kids of all ages. The Phoenix Park Cafe located within the Phoenix Park Community centre adjacent to the playground is worth a visit, too.

The Old Cheese Factory, Berwick

Playground with a farmyard theme, situated on the grounds of an old homestead property. Don't forget to visit the cheese shop and bakery.

Lillydale Lake

Lillydale Lake is an artificial lake and wetlands area with a park that covers over 100 hectares. There's a playground here that is popular in the area.
