Summertime Social Bushfire Relief Fundraiser at Federation Square

This Australia Day, Summertime Social in Federation Square (Rooftop Car Park) invites Melburnians to come together and raise money to help our little Aussie mates.

Sales from Games Lanes, Backyard BBQ & Proceeds from Relief Ale will be donated to Warriors 4 Wildlife.

Summer Sunday at Queen Vic Market

Spend time with the family as Queen Vic Market is transformed for Summer Sunday. Enjoy a variety of street food, live music and free kids’ activities at the Queen Street Plaza. There will even be a thong throwing competition with $500 worth of Market vouchers up for grabs for the biggest and best thong toss!

Australian Open Kids Club

Spend Australia Day with your crew at the Australian Open. Give your kids the full Grand Slam experience at the AO Kids Club, suitable for kids 5-12 with tennis games and activities to keep the tykes busy while you settle in with a couple of soul-soothers at the Racquet Club – or to get some R&R in on the deckchairs in front of the Big Screen.

Visit the RACV Australia Day Festival in Kings Domain Gardens on Australia Day for a family event including the Royal Air Force Roulettes flyover at 12.30pm and lots more entertainment.

Docklands Australia Day fireworks event is a family-friendly spectacular, with roaming artists, entertainment and markets to enjoy before the firework display kicks off at 9pm.

Australia Day Festival at the Sandhurst Club

Visit Sandhurst Club’s annual Australia Day festival with a twilight market and activities from 6pm. Pre-purchase wristbands for kids activities and rides ahead of time to save $. The festival concludes with a firework display at 9pm.

Australia Day celebrations with the City of Whittlesea

The City of Whittlesea will host an Australia Day event with music and dancing, and recognition of the Whittlesea Australia Day Award winners, ending in a spectacular fireworks display.
