It has been a year since ArtVo opened to the public in Docklands and now Australia's very first 'Trick Art Gallery' will be open late nights on Friday and Saturday.
What this means for Melbourne families is the chance to immerse yourselves in large-scale art into the evenings at weekends.
ArtVo is a visual playground that consists of over 100 pieces of artwork painted onto the walls of the 1950 sq metre space. The difference between this gallery and any other in Melbourne is the ability to become the start of each masterpiece.
The Melbourne Crochet Club meets weekly to learn crochet, meet other Melbourne mums, and have a good chat. Whether you're a complete beginner or a seasoned pro, everyone is welcome to come along!
There are 11 themed gallery zones to explore in ArtVo, from jungles to the sea, ancient Egypt to city scenes, let your imagination run away with you as you jump right into the artwork and become part of it.
Ride on a magic carpet, climb bamboo with a panda, come face-to-face with a blank panther, or ride on a paper plane over Sydney. There are so many possibilities, you can spend an hour or two snapping away on your smartphones and share your ultimate selfie with your friends and family!
ArtVo can be found in Melbourne’s District Docklands precinct (formerly Harbor Town). Visit 7 days a week, and now right up to 11:30pm on a Friday & Saturday night.

Dining out with the kids is not always easy, but it can be even harder trying to find family-friendly options when you are vegetarian, vegan, paleo or gluten free. If you can relate to this, make Plant Based Mum your go-to blog.
