Artists for Kids Culture (AKC) is an organisation that inspires kids to use the arts to challenge themselves, build belief in their own creativity and improve their wellbeing.

They have a mobile arts studio, Artsbus, which enables AKC to facilitate meaningful, thoughtful and therapeutic arts activities, by travelling to children in the community.

In early 2023, they will be airing a new TV series ‘artsbusTV’, and hence they are inviting youths from across Victoria to be part of the production team. The TV series is about stories and topics that matter to kids and teenagers these days.

Springvale Community Hub will play host to AKC and Artsbus, where they will be running free programs. This will be a good chance for budding TV hosts, actors and directors to come forward and find out more.

So, kids can look forward to sharing stories about their lives and home, be inspired and inspire others through storytelling. They can also try something out of their comfort zone and gain confidence while being creative and learning practical skills.

Come on after school that afternoon and celebrate our young talents and diverse cultural expression.
