Rug up and come down to Western Yarra Valley for family fun on the weekend of 27 and 28 April 2024!

Over two big days, you can enjoy apple picking, get up close with friendly alpacas, explore artist studios and pick up bargains at a cellar door sale!



Start your Yarra Valley adventure at Apteds Orchards which will be open for Pink Lady apple picking on both Saturday and Sunday from 9 am. Free entry for children under 13 years old. $15 entry for all others, which includes one kilo of free fruit to take home.

Pay for what you pick at $5 per kilo and eat as much as you like for free while picking! You can also bring a picnic to enjoy, before or after picking, if you like.



Then pop into Open Farm Day at Omaru Alpaca Farm on Sunday 28th April and feed the mums and see the babies. You can also visit the Farm Store where there are some alpaca-focused products available for purchase. You are welcome to bring along a picnic and have it on the veranda overlooking the paddock with the alpacas. Please note this event is only on Sunday 28th April.

The Nillumbik Artists Open Studios 2024 is also open on the weekend of 27 and 28 April 2024. Come along and meet the painters, sculptors, ceramists, glassmakers and printmakers. Download the app to plan your experience.



When you're done, drop by Shaws Road Winery to warm up by the fire and enjoy lunch with a glass of wine. If you are there on Saturday 27th April there will be a huge one-day-only Cellar Door Sale with 20% off all yet-to-be-labelled and current-release wines.
