Alfred Nicholas Gardens - Autumn
Autumn is especially beautiful at the Alfred Nicholas Gardens in Sherbrooke.
Located only an hours drive from Melbourne's CBD, this stunning 13.2 hectare garden is the perfect spot for a stroll, a picnic lunch or even some photography.
You will find over 3km of paths to explore (with some stairs).
To read my full review on the Alfred Nicholas Gardens,
Need to know:
There is a gravel car park opposite the gardens, but be careful crossing the busy road.
adjoins the Alfred Nicholas Gardens and has onsite car parking. The Piggery Cafe is VERY popular and bookings in advance can only be made for groups of 8 people or more.
The garden has some wheelchair/pram friendly paths at the top of the garden. Note that the paths going down to the lake may be considered to be steep for some.
Toilet blocks are located at the top of the garden and down by the lake (disabled toilets are located at the top).

Donation boxes are located at the entrance.
