Come on down to this garden-themed festival, as we welcome the warmer weather!

There are a lot of workshops on offer at this festival. You can make holiday cards and tree decorations, as well as your own Kokedama, a Japanese Moss Ball. Make tote bags or caps with airbrush art, or try out the slime workshops, sure to be a hit with the kids.

In addition, kids can enjoy activities by the council’s environment team. 'What Is That Waterbug?' will have them catching and identifying waterbugs that live in our local rivers and creeks, using spoons, trays and ID charts. Kids can also make their own ‘stickers’ out of recycled vinyl to decorate tin cans as monsters or magical creatures at 'Monster Pots'.

For the young ones who need some physical activity, the Montmorency Scout Group will be bringing their adventure Rope Course.

There will be face painting and roving entertainment. Market stall vendors include handmade baby quilts and cat collars using vintage materials from Tiggy and To, healthy dog treats from Laila and Me, Eco-friendly cold pressed soaps, beeswax food wraps and raw honey from Wildflower & Bee.

Banyule's Waste Management team will be at the festival presenting a range of info and activities, such as the New FOGO service, as well as tips and tricks on how to use reusable cloth nappies.

All the fun and excitement is bound to get you hungry. Look forward to being fed by Kimu, Falafellas, Il Panzerotto Taste of Puglia, Wrap Roll It,
Spanish Gourmet Caterers and Travel'n Pizza.

Owners of four-legged furry friends, winged friends or slithery scaly friends will be thrilled to know that there is a pet photobooth. What an amazing opportunity to be photographed with your non-human best friend!

This year, there is a Best Pet competition and show, where the winner is chosen by the community casting their votes.

The Eco Festival 2022 aims to be accessible and inclusive. For those who feel that the music is too loud, headphones can be borrowed from the Info tent. There are loud and quiet zones for visitors to choose which one they are comfortable with. The organisers have prepared a Social Story for anyone who would like to have a read.
