Celebrate Children’s Week Event



Join us as we kick off Children's week 2022 with a free & fun-filled event!

There will be activities such as face painting, nature play and storytime. Parents will have a chance

But that's not all. Have a go at drumming with Afrobeat, an interactive drumming event. Feel your body move to the rhythm of the drums as the participants are transformed from a cacophony of noise into a lively percussion orchestra. Or, check out the performances by Indigenous Outreach Project, a hip hop crew. If you have dinosaur lovers at home, don't miss out on the chance to come face to face with life-like dinosaurs by The Dinomaniacs.

For lunch, follow your noses to the free sausage sizzle, served with fruits for a balanced meal, setting a model example for the children. Pack along a picnic lunch, lay out your picnic mat on the grass and just enjoy being present with the kids.
