Excitement is building at Federation Square, with a festive playground opening on 27 November 2015.

Christmas at Fed Square

This year, Fed Square's public space in Melbourne's inner city will become a child's dream playground, centered around the largest LEGO Christmas Tree in the southern hemisphere. The tree will see over half a million LEGO bricks make this year's statuesque festive decoration.

Over the festive season, there will be freeplay gaming, interactive workshops where your kids can build their own LEGO decorations, LEGO exhibitions and an outdoor cinema.

Head down to Fed Square for official lighting of the tree from 9pm on Friday 27 November 2015. If your kids are usually tucked up in bed by then, you can watch the tree come to life from the comfort of your own home on the Fed Cam; a camera streaming live images from the The Square.
