The Yarra Valley Hot Chocolate Festival

Nothing can beat hot chocolate in this cold and drab Melbourne weather. As if the Yarra Valley Chocolaterie heard us.

The annual Hot Chocolate Festival is back with a cool 31 different flavours over 31 days in August! Each week there's a new menu with 8 different flavours of chocolate.

Keep the winter blues and winds away with enticing flavour combos, premium chocolates and royal hot chocolate creations! Slurrppppp!

Apart from new and old combo flavours there's an all new French Toast creation - ooh la la!

Eight different flavours will be introduced each week of the Hot Chocolate Festival, with the return of crowd pullers such as Chocolate Brownie, Nutella and Cookies & Cream and some amazing new flavours too. All are served with an extra shot of milk, dark or white couverture and the ultimate accompaniment a giant handcrafted marshmallow. Sounds too tempting!

Entry and chocolate tastings are free. If you are a real hot chocolate connoisseur then you should enrol in special Tasting Sessions on offer everyday of the Festival. For just $18 per person, sip and savour eight different hot chocolate flavours plus pick up a tip or two on the art of hot chocolate making during a 45 minute hosted tasting session.Bookings essential.

I'm off to the festival this weekend, to satiate my sweet tooth. Watch out this space for my favourite or maybe favourites!
