Now that Easter is behind us for another year, the next momentous occasion (after ANZAC Day) is Mother's Day, which this year, falls on Sunday, May 8 2016.

Mother's Day aka Mothering Sunday, is a celebration of mothers and motherhood, which can be traced back to the ancient Greeks and Romans.

Modern day Mother's Day is not only a time to spend time with your family, but a day when your loved ones present you with special gift.
