Home Made Snow In Three Easy Steps

With my love of all things winter, I was determined to find things that will keep G boys entertained during the school holidays – which is easier than it sounds when they are 2.5, 4.5 and 6. But then, I was told about home made snow.

I couldn’t believe that with just two ingredients and two simple steps, you can transform your lounge into a winter wonderland…literally!

Here’s how…

You will need:

- 500g Bicarbonate soda
- 1 x can shaving foam
- 1 x mixing bowl
- 1 x spoon

Place 500g of bicarbonate soda in to a bowl

Add about 1/3 of a can of shaving foam

Mix the contents in a bowl with a spoon

Ta da! You have a bowl of snow!

The G boys and their friends have had endless fun making snow balls, mini snowmen, snow castles and just molding it into what ever they can find around the house.

Hours of harmless fun, and best of all it’s cheap as chips! Enjoy!
