The Australian National Aviation Museum at Moorabbin Airport in Melbourne's South East will host an Open Cockpit Day for families on 9 October 2016.
This is a must-visit for families and aviation enthusiasts who wish to gain an insight into what is involved in piloting an aircraft!
Step inside 20 aircraft cockpits including the newly arrived Canberra Bomber and pretend you are soaring the heights of Melbourne and beyond.
The day will also have models on display, engine runs, raffles plus food and drink available on site. That said, you can bring your own picnic if you wish, with plenty of shaded spots and seats provided.
