Child Friendly Hairdresser: Hair 4 Kids Airport West

by JoyN (follow)
As a ‘newbie’ in Melbourne and first time Mum, I love to share when I find a child friendly hairdresser for my wriggly 2 year old.

Nestled in a quiet street, only 10 minutes from Melbourne airport, is a great place to take your kids for a haircut where they can have fun too.

Operating for over 18 years, Anna and the team are absolutely lovely and know exactly how to keep kids entertained before and during their haircut. Not only that, they also cater for Mum and Dad’s haircuts.

Kids are entertained by choosing a novelty item to sit on such as Wiggles Big Red Car and Jeeps amongst others during their hair cut as well as a variety of DVD’s with lots of choices. Older kids are also covered with PS3 and lots of games.

If you book in for your child's first haircut, you are presented with a memento; a personalised ‘First Haircut Certificate’ with a lock of hair (extra costs may apply). How great is that!

Hints & tips: visit their website hair4kidsairportwest.com.au.

Address: 12 Thomas St, Airport West VIC 3042

There are plenty of parking spots are available and only a few doors down, we found a child friendly café and enjoyed lovely coffee, babycino and cupcakes. The owners are so friendly AND they make custom cakes for all occasions. I ordered a birthday cake for my princess too. For more information on the cafe, go to lavishicing.com.au
